Boo only 14 units. But I'll be working on top of that and the only time that anything fits is when I'm supposed to be at work. Sadly this'll put me back a whole semester unless I do winter session at El Camino this winter. Not gonna happen. I'll take Human Physiology, Political Science, and retake Viewing Dance during Spring 2009 then Microbiology during Summer 2009. That Viewing Dance class was such a waste of my damn time. I get a damn near A in chemistry and I get a C in my GE dance class. Thank goodness for repeat-delete. I'm gonna have to pick up a double major though plus get my AS in nursing at El Camino. Future planning sucks. I wish I had been blessed with a better drawing hand.

| i was talking to someone about some of my favorite inventions ever. here's what i came up with:

I know how simple the list is. I realize that I'm not thankful for cell phones. Sometimes I think they're more trouble than good. And Ipods? They're good too, but I'm cheap and I like the simple pleasures. I encourage everyone to look into their lives and see what they're really thankful for and what they can actually live without. It's kind of interesting to see what we don't really need.
anyway, I'm done with school. now I'm job hunting =] Updates often. Or not. We'll see. | | |

| I'm lying in bed with a fever right now. I haven't had a fever in over three years. I actually haven't been sick this often in probably that long too. I suspect I got this virus from my godson who was feverish when I went over to babysit him while my parents were playing bingo with my cousins and aunt and uncle. I have a few things to say about the timing of this sickness. Firstly, thank goodness it wasn't during spring break. Not that I did anything very cool to note. Secondly, I keep missing school so I'm officially mad at my own body for turning it's metaphorical back at me. Thirdly, are the bottom of my feet supposed to be so hot? They're sweltering.
Anyways, school is fine from what I have seen since I started yesterday. I'm really sad that I haven't been partying with my friends this week. El Camino is on spring break right now therefore there are constant parties all over Hawthorne, Inglewood, Torrance, and Gardena. Chances are I'm missing one right now. I have this sudden urge to party, but seeing as my parents are holding a tight leash on me, this prospect is very near impossible. I'm not going to vent about that right now though.
I have so much crap to do before the end of the semester. And yes, semesters are really as long as they seem. Maybe even longer. But that's enough for now because my brain is starting to turn itself off and my body will probably do the same soon.
[P.S. It's really funny reading my blog entries from when I first started this xanga because I really do sound young through my words and slang. I should really stop using so much slang in normal conversation. How do you end 19 years of horrible grammar conditioning? ] | | |
